Tehreek e Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui has strongly condemned the fresh arrest spree in downtown Srinagar. Near about two dozen teenagers and youth have been arrested since Friday evening after a pro freedom protest was held in Jamia Masjid Srinagar.
Police during nocturnal raids broke into scores of houses during dead of night and picked up youth and teenagers and misbehaved with intimates.
Terming the high-handedness of police as mere frustration Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui said that to use force and fist against people can not deter freedom loving people from pursuing their just struggle for right to self determination.
Saluting youth for their resilience Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui has said that the day is not so far when this ugly occupation will wither from our beloved land.
