Tehreek e Muzahamat calls demise of Sehrai as loss of nation

Tehreek e Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui in a statement issued to press has termed the sad death of Senior pro freedom APHC leader and Tehreek e Hurriyat Chairman as a judicial murder in custody and a great national loss and national mourning.
This by no means is a natural death but a planned murder by cunning Indian authorities. Sehrai Sahab was suffering with multiple ailments for which he needed proper care and medication, but he was booked under draconian Public Safety Act and shifted to District Jail Udhampur where like all other Kashmiri Political Prisoners he was treated like a criminal and denied much needed proper medical care and basic facilities. From last couple of months his health condition was deteriorating continuously but the cunning authorities did not bother to take care of him and when his condition reached to no return point authorities did a customary drill of shifting him to hospital. This was a mere eyewash to show about their so called human face.
This planned murder of pro freedom stalwart needs a through probe by International Human Rights Organisations such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Asia Watch. Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui added.
Terming Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, s loss as a personal and national loss and national mourning Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui has said that In Sehrai Sahabs death Kashmiri nation has lost a visionary and legendary leader, a leader who was epitome of honesty, sincerity and simplicity. A leader who was an inspiration for all of us in these testing times.
A leader who was serving the cause of Islam and freedom since near about six decades with utmost fearlessness, courage and determination. A leader who despite all odds stood rock solid upon the principals of truth and justice. A leader who was without any flattering a true symbol and torch bearer of resistance movement.
No words would be enough to sum up his yeoman services for the cause of Islam and freedom.
No amount of words would be enough to measure his sufferings and sacrifices for the sacred cause. Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui said.
His loss in these testing times further adds to our mourning as we have lost a guiding leader par excellence.
With broken heart and wet eyes we say good bye to our legend and appeal Kashmiris living all over world to organise and offer Nimaz e Jenaza Gaibana for the legendary leader.
Meanwhile Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui has in strong words condemned the high-handedness of occupational authorities for threatening family of Sehrai Sahab about his burial. This shows how ugly this illegal occupation is after killing a 78 year old in custody they coerce family and inflict mental trauma to them. This is highly coward and shameful.He added.
