Seminar organised by APHC to tribute Afzal Guru, Maqbool Bhat.

 All parties Hurriyet Conference (Azad Kashmir chapter) pays glowing tributes to Shaheed Afzal Guru and Shaheed Maqbool Bhat on their martyrdom anniversaries. 

Under the chair of convener APHC  Mohammad Mushtafa Hussain, a seminar was organised on martyrdom anniversaries of Shaheed Afzal Guru and Shahhed Maqbool Bhat  at head office Islamabad. 

In a press statement issues by APHC, the leaders and members of freedom movement called on international human rights organisations to intervene in the matter of Kashmir and stop human rights violations which India is doing from over last 7 decades. 

With illegal execution of Shaheed Afzal Guru and Shaheed Maqbool Bhat on 09 feb 2013 and 11 feb 1984 respectively , Indian has crossed all humanitarian and legal grounds. Members of APHC further stated that Kashmiris have and are giving tremendous sacrifices for the noble cause. 

The leaders of APHC expressed that the oppressive Indian government and the biased judiciary have always imposed ruthless and wrong decisions against Kashmiris; even today, youths are being martyred in fake military encounters and buried far away from their native areas.

Afzal Guru was sent to gallows to satisfy the collective conscience of Indian people”. ” Through a media trial, an environment was created against Shaheed Afzal Guru, that finally led to his extra- judicial murder.   

APHC demanded release of all political prisoners who are detained in various Indian jails over fake and fabricated cases. India want other detained Hurriyat leaders to be killed like they did in the case of Shaheed Afzal Guru and Shaheed Maqbool Bhat. We want international organisation to take note of these serious fake allegations and stop these human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir.
