PeH pays tribute to Sopore martyrs
Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali has paid rich tribute to Kashmiri freedom fighters who embraced martyrdom in Sopore.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that permanent and lasting solution to the Kashmir issue is possible only through a free and fair referendum (Plebiscite) in accordance with the UN resolutions.
While paying homage to three Kashmiri freedom fighters who were martyred on night before yesterday in Sopore, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said that Kashmiri youth have set a great example in the world by fighting the oppression and tyranny of India with stones.
Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said that India violated international laws and terminated the special status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir by force on 5th August, 2019.
“However, people of Jammu and Kashmir have rejected Indian Illegal steps as they have never accepted Indian coercive rule on their land”, Ghazali maintained.
He added that the youth of Kashmir is giving their red hot blood just for freedom and their resistance movement against India is unflinching.
Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat called on the United Nations, Security Council, member states and the OIC to play their role for a referendum in Jammu and Kashmir.
