Muslim Conference pays tributes to Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq, Abdul Gani Lone.
The Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman of Muslim Conference Jammu Kashmir (MCJK) Ghazi Manzoor Ahmad on Thursday paid tributes to Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone on their 31th death anniversary.
In a statement issued to Press, Ghazi said “The Kashmiri nation is indebted to the sacrifices of every martyr and no one will be allowed to play with of these sacrifices of Kashmiri Marty’s and both the Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone strived for a holy cause and sacrificed their lives for the same”.
Ghazi said the ‘best and worst times’ in freedom movements is natural but history is witness that the nation which remains steadfast and committed to its goal ‘of freedom’ eventually succeeds. Ghazi said the world cannot turn away its eyes from Kashmir issue and its people’s legitimate struggle for right to self-determination for long but has to resolve it according to the wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Our freedom struggle is adorned with the blood of martyrs and therefore India can’t defeat it by oppression and other brutal measures”. Ghazi said in a statement.
