Martyrdom of Maqbool Butt & Afzal Guru great events of Kashmir.

 Chairman J&K People’s Freedom League and former Convener APHC AJK, today paid rich tributes to life and sacrifice of Muhammad Maqbool Butt Shaheed and M Afzal Guru Shaheed whose last remains continue to remain buried in Tihar Jail, after their hanging by India in the jail premises, despite their familys’  and humanitarian organizations’ standing demands that the last remains of these martyrs be handed to their families for burial. Muhammad Rehmani stated that fake cases were manipulated against these sons of the soil and judicial murder was committed by the Indian courts and authorities while all legal facilities to defend them were denied to them. Maqbool Butt was hanged in 1984 and Afzal Guru was sent to gallows in 2013. Maqbool Butt championed the cause of liberation according to his concept and ideology at a time India had backed out of plebiscite and Tashkent pact between India and Pakistan was inked, which disappointed kashmiris. Afzal Guru a freedom sympathizer and young doctor was victimised  by the Indian police and agencies and implicated in the Parliament attack case 2001 and hanged to please fanatical Hindus of India. The parliament attack case was itself prepared by the maneuverings of the Indian agencies to launch aggression on Pakistan . Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that time is ripe when political record of history should be set right and India must be prevented from repeating same in Kashmir again and again as Kashmiri young people are being arrested on fake charges and awarded life sentences to kill them in prisons in some different way.
