Kashmiri welcome any peace agreement, but stop killing innocents and arrest of political prisoners:MLJK

Acting Chairman Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir Abdul Ahad Parra while reacting to the ceasefire on the border by India and Pakistan said that the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir want peace the most because they have been living in fear for 73 years in general and for the last 30 years in particular.. Will the killing of Kashmiris in the cities, villages and highways of the state of Jammu and Kashmir be stopped. 

He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would welcome any agreement which would take care of their aspirations and sentiments. He said that thousands of Kashmiri leaders and common people were languishing in jails under false and fake cases. Political Leaders Musarat Alam Bhat, Mohammad Ashraf Sahrai, Mohammad Yaseen Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Asiya Andrabi, Advocate Zahid Ali, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, Farooq Tawhidi, Dr Mohammad Qasim Fakto, Dr Mohammad Shafi Shariati, Mohammad Rafiq Ganai, Naeem Ahmad Khan, Ayaz Akbar are languishing in different Indian jails, Will their release come into effect?

Abdul Ahad Parra hoped that with the ceasefire agreement, the release of prisoners would come into effect and the arrests would be curtailed. Progress will be made to create an atmosphere of peace and order in the state of Jammu and Kashmir as well as in the entire subcontinent and the oppressed people here will see what a blessing peace and tranquility is for which they have made immense sacrifices till date.
