APHC reiterates shutdown call
The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Secretary General, Molvi Bashir Ahmed Irfani in a statement issued in Srinagar, while reiterating APHC appeal to observe complete shutdown on Friday, 21st May 2021 to commemorate Shaheed e Hurriyet Kh. Ab.Gani Lone, Shaheed e Millat Moulana Mohamed Farooq and Martyrs of Hawal massacre on their anniversaries and Organize protest rallies against the genocide and gross violation of human rights perpetrated by the Indian occupation forces.
The Hurriyet leader, endorsing the detailed programme as given by the Anjman Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar, in a fervent appeal to the freedom loving people of Kashmir to follow the publicized programme in letter and spirit. The Hurriyet leader expressed his deep concern over the plight of detainees languishing in different jails of India and the occupied territory, at the hands of cruel jail authorities, particularly in the wake of Covid 19 Pandemic when hundreds of inmates are reported as Covid positive.
The Hurriyet Secretary General while expressing his anguish on the non compliance of the Indian fascist regime with reference to the Supreme court directions to release the detainees on 90 days parole ,alleged that the Indian Government out of political vendetta is playing with the lives of the freedom loving leaders and activists belonging to the freedom movement of Kashmir as they did with the Shaheed e Istiqamat, Mohamed Ashraf Sehraie in District jail Udhampur, on 5th of May 2021.
The Hurriyet leader demanded an early intervention of the United Nations Secretary General and the world community to help resolve the long pending Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolutions to which India is a signatory.
