APHC deeply concerned about political prisoners of Kashmir

The All Parties Harriet Conference spokesman in a press release issued in Srinagar while expressing his deep concern over the plight and endangered life of the political prisoners strongly condemned the inhuman and barbaric attitude displayed by India towards the freedom loving leaders and activists languishing in different jails in Jammu and Kashmir and in Indian jails keeping in view the present tsunami of coronavirus Pandemic in these overcrowded jails of India making the lives of inmates vulnerable to this disease.

The spokesman said that it is highly deplorable that thousands of parents of these inmates and the freedom loving people, in general, are in acute distress and despair about the wellbeing of their near and dear ones yet the Indian fascist regime displays its ruthless and inhuman behaviour towards the freedom loving prisoners of Kashmir.. Accusing the Indian fascist regime of its venomous ploys to eliminate the resistance moment leadership the spokesman said that shockwaves of the custodial killing of Shaheede Sadaqat,Mohamad Ashraf Sehraie in District jail Udhampur on 5th of May 2021,reveal that the people of Kashmir have genuine àprehensions in this matter. 

The spokesman clearified that the brazen denial of any meeting with his son and relatives reveals that Mohamad Ashraf Sehraie might have lost his breath in the jail and the dead body was shifted to Hospital to hide this criminal negligence committed by the jail authorities. The spokesman reiterated the demand for a high level probe done by any liberal panel of jurists under the auspices of United Nations Secretary General and said that a high profile and a popular leader like Mohamed Ashraf Sehraie dies in a mysterious condition in a jail cell, it has exposed the bad intentions of the Indian fascist regime to kill other prominent leaders of our freedom moment languishing in Indian jails in the garb of fast spreading Covid 19 iñ these jails and try to remove the stumbling blocs in the way of changing the demography of the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. However,praising the high morale of the freedom loving people of Kashmir and also the reverence and love shown by them for their martyred leader, the spokesman warned of worst consequences of the Indian fascist and colonial approach in addition to the oppressive measures adopted by India to suppress the legitimate cause for Right to self determination and said that the people of Kashmir have time and again resisted the Indian ggression and have not given up their struggle for Right to self determination.

 The APHC spokesman also denounced the Israeli attack on the Palestinian devotees and showering bullets and teargas shells on them while they were offering prayers in the Masjid Aqsa .The spokesman while strongly condemning the use of brute force against the peaceful devotees termed the Israeli action as an act of state Terrorism in the broad day light and trampling of all human norms and urged the the dire need of the hour to contain Israeli State Terrorism by forging unity among the Muslim Bloc at any cost.
