All Parties Hurriayat Conference Paid Glowing Tribute to Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, Dr. Abdul Aala and Sheikh Tajamul Islam on their death anversaries

Islamabad, August 24, 2024: In a solemn ceremony held today, All Parties Hurriayat Conference (APHC) gathered to honor the sacrifices of Adv. Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, Dr. Abdul Aala, and Shaikh Tajamul Islam, who laid down their lives for the noble cause of liberating occupied Jammu and Kashmir from Indian occupation. The tribute ceremony, presided by Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convener APHC, was graced by notable dignitaries including Sardar Yaqoob, former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Abdur Rashid Turabi, former Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Abdullah Gul, who attended as the Chief Guests.

In his opening remarks, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani emphasized the unwavering commitment of the Kashmiri people to their right to self-determination. He reiterated that the sacrifices of Adv. Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, Dr. Abdul Aala, and Shaikh Tajamul Islam remain a beacon of hope and resistance against the oppressive Indian regime.

Sardar Yaqoob, in his address, highlighted the global implications of the ongoing struggle in Jammu and Kashmir, urging the international community to take immediate action against the human rights violations perpetuated by Indian forces in the region. Abdur Rashid Turabi praised the resilience of the Kashmiri people and reaffirmed Jamaat-e-Islami’s steadfast support for their cause.

The event saw powerful speeches from several prominent leaders, including Adv. Parviaz Ahmed Shah, APHC Secretary; Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat, Secretary Information; Mehmood Ahmed Sagar; Farooq Rehmani; Faiz Naqishbandi; Muhammad Hussain Kahteeb; Mir Tahir Masood; and Ms. Shamima Shawl. Each speaker paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs and called for continued unity and perseverance in the struggle for freedom.

Adv. Parviaz Ahmed Shah underscored the importance of honoring the martyrs by continuing their mission with renewed vigor, while Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat emphasized the need for effective international advocacy to highlight the plight of Kashmiris.

The APHC, along with other Hurriayat leaders and freedom lovers present, vowed to continue their struggle until the aspirations of the Kashmiri people are realized.
