AJK Prime Minister attends condolence reference at APHC

 

A meeting of the Azad Kashmir chapter of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference  was held in Islamabad, today, to pay homage chairman Tehreek e Hurriyet  Shaheed Sehrai,  Senior Hurriyat leader Syed Muzaffeer Hussain Shah,  brother in law of senior APHC leader Mohammad Farooq Rehmani and  mother of APHC  leader Zahid Saffi

AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider today attended condolence meet at All parties Hurriyat conference headquarters in islamabad

While paying homage to the fallen hero, AJK premier called Sehrai hero of freedom struggle who along with his family gave enormous sacrifice to Kashmir freedom struggle.

Senior APHC leader Mohammad farooq rehmani while paying glorious tribute to shaheed sehrai and said no proper medical facilities were given to him during his illegal confinement. His custodial death substitutes popular observations that Modi cult of tyranny is on rise in Kashmir and other kashmiri leaders aren’t safe and secure in prisons. Therefore, Pakistan should raise the question of sahrayee’s custodial death on the international level and the UN should send an investigation team to JK to Kashmir to unravel the truth behind his death which   threatens the life of other leaders in Indian jails.

While speaking at the condolence reference   Zahid Saffi said, we are giving these sacrifices for great and noble cause; we should continue the mission of Ashraf Sehrai.

Former APHC convener and Tehreek Hurriyet representative Gh. Mohammad Saffi also paid tremendous tribute to his Chairman Tehreek e Hurriyet and said that Sehrai Shab never bowed in front of Indian occupational authorities. He spent 16 years in different jails and was martyred in Indian jail also. Sehrai Shab is our icon and we should learn from his zeal and passion for freedom struggle.

The other leaders present in reference expressed their grief over the daily atrocities, barbarism and killings in Kashmir.

The other speakers urged the United Nations and other human rights organizations to intervene in Kashmir who are suffering from the last 7 decades. International community should pressurize India to stop gross human rights violations in Kashmir, they added.

In addition to the leaders, religious, social and political leaders were present in the condolence meeting.
