 An extraordinary meeting of the Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir was held in Srinagar under the chairmanship of Acting Chairman Abdul Ahad. During the meeting, Abdul Ahad Parra  paid rich tributes to Shaheed Mohammad Afzal Guru and Shaheed Mohammad Maqbool Butt and said that these two leaders were sentenced to death by the courts of India despite insufficient evidence and testimony. His body was not handed over to his family. This was done only to discourage the Indian people and the Kashmiri people to give up the rightful freedom movement based on fear and apprehension. But the whole world saw that after that the people of the state He told a great story of sacrifices and fought on every level of Indian state terrorism.

He said that the Kashmiri people would continue their struggle till the dawn of independence. He rejected Indian aggression and unilateral decisions and called on the international community to protect Kashmiris from Indian state terrorism and violence In the light of internationally adopted resolutions, the right should play its role in giving self-determination
