EU delegation Kashmir visit a failed drama of India:Abdul Ahad Para
The recent visit of the EU delegation to Kashmir has revealed that the Indian occupying government tried to meet the delegation with its favorites and agents under a special program and cover up the real situation in Kashmir to inform the international community. India once again tried its usual fraud to mislead international community, but the Kashmiris went on a full-scale strike and sent a clear message to the world that the ground realities could not be changed by India’s clever tactics and that the Kashmiris could not be dramatically deprived of their basic right to self-determination. These tricks did not give any credibility to this delegation. Because the people they have met are either government employees or government procurement agents.
This was stated by the Acting Chairman, Muslim League-Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Ahad Para in a statement issued to the press. He said that on the visit of the EU delegation to Kashmir, the people of the state welcomed the Indian drama with an unprecedented complete strike. It became clear how bad the situation is in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The oppressed people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir are currently going through the worst period in history where political organizations and other people are not allowed to protest peacefully or even to speak. They will meet people they like. The usefulness of this EU delegation would have been enhanced if it had met the people there freely and based on the facts without any fear.
Abdul Ahad Para appealed to the UN Secretary General and all the world’s leading human rights organizations to take notice of this self-styled Indian drama. And we expect the EU delegation to conduct an independent inquiry into the situation in Kashmir and expose the real face of Indian state terrorism to the world, so that the Kashmiri people can live up to their expectations of the international community.
He said that the whole world knows that the people of the state demand independence through referendum in accordance with the UN Security Resolutions for which the people of Jammu and Kashmir have made immense financial and human sacrifices which are still going on.
He said that the deployment of one million occupied forces in this small region of Kashmir is a testament to the plight of the people here and in what circumstances they are struggling for their basic right to self-determination.
