US troops pull-out from Afghanistan is welcome step: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani the Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League has hailed Joe Biden’s landmark decision to begin withdrawing of the US troops from Afghanistan to create regional stability and peace across length and breadth of the war-torn country , saying that the same principle should apply to Jammu and Kashmir , where the Indian troops are shedding human blood and making the inhabitants homeless for several decades in violation of the the UN Charter and Indian leaders’ own commitments.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani appealed to the US President to fulfill its election pledge regarding a peaceful settlement of the long overdue Kashmir dispute through a peaceful dialogue . He said that an atmosphere of peace by respecting human rights of the Kashmiris should be created for a successful dialogue between the stake holders in accordance with the wishes of the people. After all the kashmiris belong to the same mankind and dialogue at different levels between Pakistan and India must focus on honour and safety of the people in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Pakistan -India engagement fruits should reach kashmiris and they deserve peace , freedom and respectability like any nation. Muhammad Farooq Rehmani hoped that Joe biden the US President would encourage efforts towards resolving the Kashmir dispute amicably in line with the wishes of the Kashmiris and they will be treated as the most important party of this dispute.
Meanwhile Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman also condemned the arrest of Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar (Vice Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference) and other members of the alliance in Srinagar to stop people from Friday protests against state terrorism in Kashmir .
