Rehmani pays glowing tributes to Mufti Faizul Waheed

Paying glowing tributes to the services and dedication of Mufti Faizul Waheed , a great and renowned Islamic scholar, Mufassiri Quran , (who translated Quran into Gojri language), preacher and educationist of the State of Jammu and Kashmir ( hailing from Rajori Jammu), Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League said that the State people would always remain indebted to his knowledge and sacrifices he rendered for the cause of Islam and Islamic learning among the people inside and outside of his country. 

He said , ” we have lost a great selfless luminary in these times of social and moral crisis “. He not only devoted his time to spreading of Islamic teachings and morality but raised his voice for the State identity and character of all the inhabitants be they Muslims or non Muslim. 

In this endeavor he made great contribution to safeguarding the Kashmiri Muslim identity and Character of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. And, for raising his voice the Indian authorities put him in jail under the notorious JK PSA , in 1990s which told upon his health. But, he completed his Gojri translation of the Holy Quran,.” 

May Allah reward him and elevate his stature in his life hereafter according to His promise made for such great men of Allah. And, impart enough of spirit among his people to spread the message message of Islam based on love of Allah and humanity.”
