JK Salvation Movement supported the blackout call
JK Salvation Movement chairman Altaf Ahmad Bhat on Thursday Supported the blackout call against unabated killings and forced demographic changes. APHC has called a valley wide protest demonstration against rights violations in Kashmir, intimidation ,killings ,arrests and demographic changes .
Altaf Ahmad Bhat in a statement while criticizing New Delhi for its arbitrary measures, said that it is time to face all odds unitedly .Youth are being arrested in night raids and killed in fake encounter or in custody ,said Altaf Ahmad Bhat .
Appealing people to follow blackout call of APHC ,Altaf Ahmad Bhat said that freedom loving people should demonstrate peaceful protest against the forced occupation of Jammu Kashmir by Indian rulers.
We will make our efforts to achieve our cherished goal ,added Altaf Ahmad Bhat ,saying the forced occupation of JK territory by Indian forces amounts to political bankruptcy.
He expressed his dismay over the role of UNO ,saying Kashmiri people are being subjected to “worst kind of torture and oppression”, but the champions of human rights are maintaining a criminal silence over it “to safeguard their economic ambitions.”
Asking international community to ‘shun its silence’ at the plight of Kashmiris, Altaf Ahmad Bhat said that it is the duty of international community to protect and safeguard humanity everywhere.
On 4th June Friday people in occupied Jammu Kashmir will observe a complete shutdown and blackout from 8 pm to 9 pm against gross human rights violations, said Altaf Ahmad Bhat .
