APHC concerned over exacerbating the problem of human rights violations in IIOJK
The All Parties Hurriyet Conference, In charge Human Rights Bureau, Advocate Zamrooda Habib in a press release issued in Srinagar expressed her grave concern over exacerbating the problem of human rights violations in the length and breadth of the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir, at the hands of Indian occupation forces.
The Hurriyet leader while seeking the serious attention of the civilized world community to ponder upon the state of vulnerability of a small number of Muslim population besieged by more than one million occupation forces filled with communal frenzy ,said that the deprivation of fundamental rights including civil, political, social, religious and economic rights has rendered the life of the people worse than the Apartheid.
Expressing her strong worded condemnation of the incessant cordon and search operations carried out by the Indian occupation forces and the intensified deployment of additional forces in the nook and corner of Kashmir, the Hurriyet leader said that the use of brute force against the civil population has become a routine matter and the common masses are frightened by a permanent threat to their lives, honor and property.
Advocate Zamrooda Habib taking a dig on the Indian Fascist Regime for initiating the fresh spell of arrests of the youth, using with impunity the draconian laws like PSA, UAPA, AFSPA, PoTA etc.,said that extrajudicial killings, arbitrary detentions and widespread destruction of residential houses, like repressive measures are used to suppress the legitimate moment for Right to Self Determination which has proved a distant dream for India as of now.
The Hurriyet leader urged the United Nations Council for Human Rights, UN Secretary General and the world community to take appropriate action against the heinous war crimes committed by the Indian occupation forces in Jammu and Kashmir, illegally occupied by India, and give their helping hand to resolve the long pending Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN Security council Resolutions, and put a bar on the worst human rights violations, killings, illegal detentions, molestation of women and destruction of residential houses and property perpetrated by the Indian occupation forces in the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir
