APHC condemns use of brute force against civilians in Sopore
The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Spokesman in a press release issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the use of brute force against the civilians at Sopore in District Baramulla, where the Indian occupation forces resorted to indiscriminate firing, thereby killing three innocent civilians. The spokesman while paying rich tributes to the martyrs of Sopore expressed his deep condolences with the grief stricken families of these martyrs and said that the Indian occupation forces have let loose a reign of terror in the nook and corner of the illegally occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Genocide with impunity, under the cover of draconian laws has become a routine matter in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Arbitrary detentions, molestation of women and vandalizing residential houses are used as a permanent war strategy to suppress the legitimate and peaceful moment for Right to self determination carried out by the freedom loving people of Kashmir, added the statement. Lauding the valour and high Morales of the people of Kashmir, in general, and the people of Sopore in particular, the spokesman reiterated its strong commitment and pledge to take the ongoing resistance moment to its logical conclusion.This is the only way to pay real tributes to our martyrs ,maintained the statement.
The Hurriyet spokesman urged the United Nations Secretary General and the United Nations Council for Human Rights to take cognizance of the widespread killings, arbitrary detentions, molestation of women and vandalizing of residential houses, perpetrated by the Indian occupation forces in the subjugated territory of Jammu and Kashmir and these repressive measures are being used as a permanent war strategy against the freedom loving people of Kashmir.
The spokesman while demanding early resolution of Kashmir dispute, urged the United Nations Organization to come forward and help resolve the long pending Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN Security council Resolutions and pressurize India to stop genocide and gross violation of human rights in Kashmir.
