APHC condemns use of draconian laws by Indian rulers in IIOJK

 


The All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Secretary Public Relations, Bashir Andrabi in a press release issued in Srinagar condemned the frequent use of draconian laws by the Indian Fascist Rulers, in the nook and corner of the illegally occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir and said that more than three hundred people, mostly youngsters, have been incarcerated and put behind bars in different jails of India and the occupied territory, during the past three weeks from Sopore, Pulwama, Shopian, Tral, Srinagar and other areas. 

The Hurriyet leader while expressing his deep concern over the plight of, already, incarcerated leaders and activists belonging to All Parties Hurriyet Conference and other pro freedom groups who are languishing in these overcrowded jails without basic amenities including non availability of proper medical treatment in the wake of devastating Covid 19 Pandemic ,said that more than 45 hundred resistance leaders and activists have been illegally detained under the black laws, like Public Safety Act, Unlawful Prevention Act, Armed Forces Special Powers Act, Maintenance Of Internal Security Act, National Security Act, etc. for the crimes which they have not committed. 

The Hurriyet leader denouncing the inhuman and barbaric attitude of the Indian fascist regime said that Keeping in view the frequent use of such draconian laws and the use of brute force against the civil population and the political prisoners, India is a proven police state where people have been deprived of their fundamental rights. 

The Hurriyet leader paid rich tributes and salutes to the freedom loving incarcerated leaders and activists including, Syed Ali Gilani, Dr.Umar Farooq, Aga Syed Hassan (house arrested trio ) Masarat Aalam Bhat, Mohamed Yasin Malik, Shabir Ahmed Shah, Dr.Hamid Fayaz, Dr. Gh. Mohamad Bhat, Dr Qasim, Aasia Andrabi, Altaf Fantosh, Ayaz Akbar, Pir Saifullah, Raja Merajudin Kalwal, Shahidul Islam, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Maqsood Ahmed Bhat, Ameer Hamza, Mohamed Yousuf Mir, Mohamed Yousuf Falahi, Farooq Tawhidi, Fahmida Sofi, Nahida Nasreen, Shahid Yousaf Shah, Shakeel Yousaf Shah, Zahoor Ahmed Watali (businessman),Nazir Ahmed Shiek, Mohamed Ayoub Mir, Mohamed Ayoub Dar, Shawkat Ahamad Khan, Gh.Qadir Bhat, Showkat Hakim, Merajudin Nanda, Gazanfar Iqbal, Aqib Wani, Nazir Pathan, Tariq Pandit, and all other detainees languishing in Indian jails and within the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 

The Hurriyet leader urged the United Nations Council for Human Rights and all other human rights Organizations to take serious cognizance of the plight of the freedom loving prisoners at the hands of Indian jail authorities who have been deprived of their fundamental rights within the jails.

 The Hurriyet leader urged the intervention of the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres to prevail upon India to stop the arbitrary detentions, gross Human Rights Violations and Genocide in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir at the hands of Indian occupation forces. 

The Hurriyet leader termed the disputed nature of Kashmir as the basic cause of a permanent threat to a third world war ,so it has become highly imperative for all the Parties to the dispute, under the auspices of United Nations Security council to settle it peacefully and amicably,as per.wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir
