Modi led Kashmir conference is not more than another betrayal: Pasban-e-Hurriyat

Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali has said that the Delhi Conference is a conspiracy to sabotage the eternal sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and to bluff the world conscience.  

In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said that Modi should release all the (Hurriyat) leaders unconditionally.

He maintained that the Kashmiri people have rejected Indian occupation, “they want independence, the right to self-determination and a peaceful future”. 

Ghazali reiterated that the Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions.

Referring to the the conference on Jammu and Kashmir convened under the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi today, he said that this event is a conspiracy to sabotage the eternal sacrifices and historic struggle of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.  

He said, “This conference is not more than another betrayal for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.” 

Uzair said that Narendra Modi’s gang including Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Duval and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh are responsible for killing millions of people of Jammu and Kashmir. 

He further said that Kashmiri from the Conference chaired by Modi does not expect any good news but they are preparing to face any new ploy of the evil, selfish and self-interested people participating in the conference.

Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said that the Indian rulers were trying to deceive the world regarding Kashmir by keeping real representatives of the state in jails and house arrest. 

“India should know that Jammu and Kashmir is a state that has nothing to do with India”, he added. 

Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat called on the United Nations, the Security Council and the OIC to repeal all illegal actions taken by India in the disputed state and establish a fair, free and impartial referendum in the state.
