The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Vice Chairman Gh. Ahamad Gulzar and Secretary General Molvi Bashir Ahmed Irfani, today visited the ancestral residence of Late Adv. Abdul Hameed Karimi of Baramulla who died yesterday in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Addressing the mourners gathering, both the Hurriyet leaders expressed their heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family and paid rich tributes to the sacrifices rendered by the deceased veteran pro freedom leader for the sacred cause of freedom.
Both the leaders while condemning the recent upsurge in the custodial killings of the innocent youth of Kashmir at the hands of Indian occupation forces, said that the policy of repression and suppression cannot deter the freedom loving people of Kashmir from demanding their inalienable Right to Self Determination.
The statement added that it is India who has taken Kashmir issue to the United Nations Security council and as a signatory to this disputed issue India has no moral or legal right to deny its commitment.
Terming the moment for Right to Self Determination as a legitimate demand by the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the Hurriyet leaders urged the United Nations Secretary General to take serious cognizance of the ground situation prevailing in the illegally Indian occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir and use its good offices to stop genocide and gross violation of human rights perpetrated by the Indian occupation forces and help resolve dispute in accordance with the UN Security council Resolutions and wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir
