Saghar urges world to hold India accountable for its war crimes in IoK
Acting Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Mehmood Ahmed Saghar has urged the world community to redouble its efforts to resolve the long pending dispute of Kashmir to bring an end to the continued bloodshed and state terrorism the India’s fascist regime has been conducting against people of the occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday the DFP leader while drawing international community’s attention towards fast deteriorating political and human rights situation in the Indian occupied territory if Kashmir said that the region has been on the brink of disaster since the Modi led apartheid regime has assumed power in New Delhi. Under Modi’s fascist regime, he said, situation in Kashmir has pushed deeper into chaos and uncertainty, which he said has caused further insecurity and uneasiness amongst Kashmiris who have been caught between the crosshairs of the conflict and state terrorism. Denouncing the BJP’s muscular policies towards Kashmir he said that it was high time that the international community should take effective notice of the stepped-up Indian state terrorism in Kashmir and initiate an inquiry into the war crimes being committed by the Indian troops deployed in length and breadth of the territory.
Meanwhile, in a separate state the DFP leader thanked the Turkish president Recep Tayyib Erdogan for raising the issue vociferously during his speech to the UN general Assembly. He said that Turkey has always supported the Kashmir cause and raised the issue consistently at every world forum.
