Condolence Reference held at APHC Islamabad
A Condolence reference was organised by Azad Kashmir chapter of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference was held in Islamabad, today, to pay homage to Mohsin-e-Kashmir, Shiekh Tajamul Islam (Director Kashmir Media Service) who passed away earlier this month.
Fakher Imam and Sardar Masood Khan were the chief guests of the event while as Shiekh Mateen Ahmed moderated the event.
While paying homage to the fallen hero, former President AJK called Shiekh Tajamul a hero of freedom struggle and the mission of Shiekh Tajamul Islam will continue . He was very active on the media front of Kashmir Independence Movement.
He paid homage to the great sacrifices of Syed Ali Gilani. Despite all the oppression of India, the freedom movement continues with full determination. The late Sheikh Tajmal-ul-Islam was a great scholar . Sheikh Tajmalul Islam has rendered invaluable services on the media front of Tehreek-e-Azadi Kashmir, He further added
APHC convener Mohammad Farooq Rehmani also paid tremendous tribute to KMS Director and said that Shiekh Shab never bowed in front of anyone, and upheld his principles. Shiekh Shab is our icon and we should learn from his zeal and passion for freedom struggle.
Fakhar Imam (Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research) paid tremendous tribute to Shiekh Tajamul Islam and said that Shaykh Tajmal-ul-Islam has always been working on the media front of Tehreek-e-Azadi. He has worked tirelessly on this front. The Kashmiri people have made historic sacrifices for their freedom and this series of sacrifices is still going on. Shaykh Tajmalul Islam was a treasure trove of information on Kashmir, he had a keen eye on all aspects of Kashmir.
He organized Kashmir Media Service very well and made it an ideal institution which has made a name for itself in a very short period of time. India is trying to mislead the international community. We have to expose the Kashmir issue to the world in its true context. India in occupied Jammu and Kashmir India is committing the worst human rights violations in Kashmir. The United Nations should take notice of the human rights violations. We would like to thank the Members of Parliament in the House of Commons for speaking out on the Kashmir issue.
The other leaders present in reference expressed their grief over the daily atrocities, barbarism and killings in Kashmir.
The other speakers urged the United Nations and other human rights organizations to intervene in Kashmir who are suffering from the last 7 decades. International community should pressurize India to stop gross human rights violations in Kashmir, they added.
In addition to the leaders, religious, social and political leaders were present in the condolence meeting.
